ARCHITECTURE 2008
This installation proposes a layered space in which the anxiety that causes the
anticipation of the image that one usually finds in exhibitions and the memory
of the recent experienced exhibition circulation space, overlap in a sequence.
This sequence is induced by the projection in large screens of videos of the
person circulating the exhibition with a couple of seconds of deferral, so that
both the representation and the image of the person circulating and the space
develop multiple levels of overlapping events, spaces and times. These sequences
develop a series of psycho-somatic-based experiential affect: between
past-present-future condition and the anxiety produced by the impossibility of
contemporary man to be in present in time and therefore be present in its
surrounding space. |
